Notes: The cemetery was opened around 1958 when City park cemetery became full. It is still in use today although reached capacity several years ago. It is located opposite the main entrance to Nairobi National Park.

Copies of the registers are held in the site office. The first register, containg the early burials from 1958, is in poor condition after years of use. The last time I visited a charge of Ksh500 had been introduced and you were expected to go the the City Mortuary to make payment. I do not know if this is still in force
